It's about time I post about Audrey Kawasaki, my favorite favorite painter! Her painting is all about innocent and erotic, its attractive yet disturbing. Combining technique from manga comics and Art Nouveau, the figures she paints are seductive and contain an air of melancholy. They exist in their own sensually esoteric realm, yet at the same time present a sense of accessibility that draws the observer to them. Talking about mysterious young women with bedroom eyes, loves it!
